What it is

Bilateral Breast Augmentation is one of the most sought after and performed plastic surgeries. Whether it be to enhance or to restore fullness to the breasts, BBA, commonly known as “breast aug” or “boob job”, can help improve the overall appearance of the breasts. It can also help correct asymmetry, shape and size. Breast Augmentation surgery is performed through small strategically place incisions through which implants are inserted. These prostheses can either be saline or silicone filled and come in a variety of shapes and sizes.

Benefits of Bilateral Breast Augmentation:

  • Increase volume in the breasts

  • Correct asymmetry in the breast

  • Improve or restore balance and proportion on the body

  • Improve self-confidence

Post-Op Care

Breast Augmentation surgery is a day surgery. You can therefore return home the night of your surgery and for the remainder of your recovery. Dr Rizis will see you within the first 5 to 7 days to assess your skin and scar as well as remove bandages. Recovery continues for a few weeks until the swelling has significantly subsided. Most patients resume normal activities such as work, driving, and showering within the first 10 to 15 days.

Potential Risks & Complications

Although unlikely, all surgical procedures pose potential health risks. During the pre-operative consultation, Dr Rizis will go over all possible risks and complications as well as pertinent procedure information.
